Solutions

Expert Solution

  1. For Learning Theory: aggression could be defined through social learning theory in which a person from their childhood look at their parents exhibiting aggressive behaviour and identify aggression as the most appropriate behaviour . They learn what they see from their childhood and perceive that to be the correct form, through imitation, mimicry and modeling.
  2. From biological theory: biological theory of aggression may occur through classical conditioning in which a person would have a natural inclination towards a stimuli, leading to anger. When certain brain areas are stimulated electrically, there are reported to be aggressive behaviour seen. It has also been explained through the presence of testosterone in males or other hormones in females. Serotonin May also result in aggression.
  3. For Psychoanalytic theory: explained through operant conditioning. existence of aggression is one of the symptoms of sadism where it may also be considered as the manifestation of the se-xual instinct. This is also known to exist in an innate manner, and is the primary drive of the instinct. The more the behaviour of the person is encouraged through rewards, the more the person starts beginning to carry out the same behaviour again and again.
