It involves a process of request, assessment, team involvement and consent within an ethical and legal framework. A restraint is a device or medication that is administered for the purpose of restricting the movement and/or behaviour of a person. Determine the limitations and legal ramifications of the following forms of restraint (in 40-60 words each):
Psychological
A restraint is any manual, physical or

It requires a written clear instruction from the treating Medical practitioner.
Legal :- Needed doctors clear written consent and instruction before administering a drug.
# physical restraint :-
Physical restraints are most often applied when behavioral expressions of distress and/or a change in medical status occur.
some essential values and norms that must be observed in an ethical evaluation of physical restraint. Follow patient -The centered approach while taking this step.
Legal :- patient has the right to raise physical assault and abuse be sure to keep the signed consent from patient and doctors side to avoid legal complication.
# Psychological restraint :-
Psychological restrain is based on therapeutic purpose and part of treatment plan.
Legal :- it requires doctors approval. Consent to be taken from patient itself if possible.
