1- Give your opinion in authorship in the following situation: A student worked for 3 years in the lab and developed a vaccine for a specific virus. His advisor then took the results and published them. The advisor put his name first and the student name second. His reason was that the student did the work in his lab. What is your opinion about what the advisor did?

1.This is an act of stealing the work of others though the student worked in the laboratory the invention was done by the student. So as a state of honor it is necessary to mention the name of the student and then mention the name of the advisor because they are the one who supervises and  guides them in a research. It can be a legal concern for doing forgery by replacing the name of the advisor instead of the student name.

2.In a work or in a project always the positive sides are published or exposed to others whereas the negative results are simply avoided from being exposed to others. The researcher takes the negative results for making necessary corrections and avoiding errors in future research or project .They are highly important in science to avoid error and be a base for learning .

Scientist publish negative results so that the same thing can be avoided by other researchers in the future she a similar study is done.The practice of it is still lowered when compared to positive result
