Leveraging these innovations has positive implications for health promotion practices including improved intervention development and evaluation, Increased multi disciplinary collaboration and enhanced facilitation of communication, information exchange and support. Patients require appropriate health information inorder to participate in treatment decisions and Increase communication with their doctor or health worker. Improved patient access may increase patient satisfaction with care and leads to better outcomes. The integration technology, crowdsourcing and social medias are helping to achieve that. Social media is an ideal platform for patients and caregivers. It provides tools to share information, health education, to debate health care policy and practice issues , to promote health behaviours to engage with the public and to educate and instruct with patients and caregivers.
