A well written code of ethics is very important for the culture as well as the overall functioning of an organization. It defines clearly the values, ethics, principles and also that goals of an organization. A well written code of ethics clarifies how the employers and the employees are supposed to behave, generally and in given situations. The workers get a clear picture of the activities they are not supposed to do, through a well written code of ethics.

This plays a very important role in defining the culture of an organization, which affects the overall operations in there.
