Anything which can influence the health of an individual or a group of people is considered to be the determinants of health.This can be behaviour of individual, socioeconomic factors, educational status, physiological factors or psychological factors,etc.,

The dimension of house is the space availability in a house depending upon the number of people in the house.The size of drawing room , bedroom, guest house , verandah,etc.,The components of housing like floor, foundation, windows,door plumbing, etc.,

Housing is an important determinant of health because a good ventilated ,lightened,spacious, greenish, loving and caring environment influence the health of the individual in the family. For instance if the housing is furnished with lead painted material this can lead to lead toxicity in children overtime thus affecting the health of the child in the family.In simple it is linked to poor health of an individual.For instance if the housing is surrounded by good greenery with fresh air it can enhance the health of an individual and it is liked yo good health.
