Solutions

Expert Solution

The advantages of using computer aided programs to solve problems with Hardy cross method are -

1) As Hardy cross method is a iterative method , lots of calculations are required to solve the problem so using computer aided software makes the calculation easy in one way .

2) It's also very time consuming to solve questions by conventional method without use of computer aided software so it also saves time.

3)It is practical to solve problems with Hardy cross method till some level but after that it becomes very hard and complicative to solve the problem. At that time the computer aided software helps in solving high level problems that are not in the range of humans to solve .

4) As it's a problem of iteration, sometimes while solving it becomes confusing in solving steps and these chances becomes very rare with computer aided software.

5) without using the computer aided software the problem is solved till 2-3 iterations .so, not much accuracy can be achieved .in accuracy also computer aided software helps.
