The scope of work for an accountant in corporate governance is broad, and ensures accountability and transparency in the everyday undertakings of organisation is the most critical task. Also the accountants have to write various reports for their internal management to give their advertisements to the company and assist the company in improve its accounting and adjusting the budget. The footnotes have to be written after they record accounts in the journal. The footnotes have to be easy and simple for the others to understand.

An accountant holds the responsibility for entire diverse tasks to help businesses and consumers remain lucrative thus requires a strong researching. Moreover the gathered information can be utilized predict future trends that involve money. The accountant makes a comparison of the present and past statistics to know where the business can be improve with a proper organizing. An analyst is able to read several pages of financial statements and fish out where poor or waste spending habits is affecting the cash flow of the company thus needs the critical thinking. The role can be widened also and may include the banking strategies and profitable investments that would help the company make more money.
