Expert Solution

Everybody has a dream job of their own. It its always better to have passion for one's own, and follow the path instead of oscillating when it comes to career choice.

The dream job of mine is police officer. My family has had a bunch of police officers, and the tradition has created in me a passion and drive to serve in the police department.

First of all, it is a job that gives oneself a sense of pride. Police officers command a sense of respect among the public. Having seen the kind of respect my family has received over the years, it has instilled on me a drive to become a police officer. It is more about service to the society, without expecting anything in return from the people we helped. It gives a great sense of satisfaction while the officer return home from duty each day. Also not to skip to mention the compensation that a police officer receives. The compensation is decent to support oneself and family financially.

Duties include investigation, arresting the wrong doers, responding to 911 calls, regulating traffic, recording witness, calming disputes among others. Qualification include having completed 21 years of age, USA citizenship, passing various tests and meeting education and training requirements. Application can be made through various portals based on vacancy in the locality. Other incidentals include fitness and a tough mentality. Police officer roles would be more suited for such people. Apart from all the qualifications, sense of service to society is of utmost importance!
