Answer 1. Corrct answer is A) Hemagglutinin. It is a type of glycoprotein found on the envelope of influenza virus. Its is responsible for the attachment of virus to the cell that is to be infected.

Neuraminadase are enzymes required for the replication of influenza virus in host cell.

Fusion protiens are formed due to combined genes that were originally coded for different protiens.

RNA dependent RNA polymerase is a enzyme used to replicate RNA from a RNA template.

Answer 2. Correct answer is D) Flu-induced pneumonia. Flu can cause death only in case of severe lung failure i.e. pneumonia. Flu induced pneumonia cause the air sacs or alveoli to fill with fluids or pus thus making external respiration difficult.

High fever is common though it is not severe case.

Since flu are viral diseases bacterial induced pneumonia cannot be a option.

Heart failure are not symptoms for flu thus we cannot count this option.
