Describe and analyze the way the CSU system is funded by the state of California. How is the way the CSU is funded affected by partisan politics and interest groups?
The California State University (CSU) is the “people's university,” that receives (through contributions by taxpayer) exceeding half of its revenue from California. The rest of amount is contributed from tuition fees by students and their families. CSU funds are also supported by a little portion of revenue from California State Lottery ticket sales. It provides education at affordable fees with high quality. This partnership among the students and their families and California enables to fulfill the target of giving opportunity for education through quality degree programs
The California State University System is incorporated as The Trustees of the California State University; and incremental budgeting is practiced every year depending on the increases or decreases in the funding authorized by the State.
