Health care is the maintanence or improval of health via prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.Health care is delivered by health professionals.Physicians and associates are as a part of health professionals.Dentistry,pharmacy,midwifery,nursing,medicine,optometry,audiology,psychology,occupational therapy,physical therapy, occupational training.all are part of these health care.it includes work done in 1.Primary 2.Secondary 3.Tertiarycare.   1 PRIMARY CARE Primary care refers to the work of the health professionals who act as a point of consultation of all the patients with hte health care system.such a professional would usually prg on the health condition patient may refered secondary or tertiary care.primary care involves the widest scope of health care including all age of patients, socio economic and geographic origin.patientss seekink to maintain optimal health,and patients with acute and chronic physical,mental and social health issues including multiple chronic diseases.consequently a primary health practitioner must possess a wide breadth of knowledge in many areas.continuity is a key charecteristic of primary care as patients usually prefer to vivit the same practitioner for routine check up and preventive care, health education.an every time they require a initial onsultation about a new health problom.The intere national classification of primary health care is a standardized tool for understanding and analysing information on inventions in primary care based on the reasons of the patient'svisit.primary care includes hypotension, diabetes, asthma, COPD,depression,anxiety,backpain,arthritis,.it may include maternal, and child health care services such as family care services and vaccinations.In context of the of global population aging with incresing numbers of older adults at greater risk of chronic and non communicable -diseases,rapidly increasing demands for primary care services is expected in both expected in both developed and developing countries.the WHO atributes the provision of essential primary are as an integral component of an inclusive primary health care.

2.SECONDARY CARE Secondary care includes acute care necessary treatment for a short period of time for a brief but serious illness.injury or other health care condition.This care is often found in hospital emergency department.Secondary care also includes skilled attendence during child birth , intensive care, and medical imaging services.The term" secondary care" some time synonymously with" hospital care'.However many secondary cre providerssuch as psychiatrists , clinical psychologists donot necessarily work in hospitals.Depending on the organozation and policies of the national health system patients may be required to see a primarycare provider for a referral before they can access secondary care.some countries it operate mixed market health care system.Allied health professionals such as physical therapists , respiratory therapists, dietitians, speech therapists.also generally work in secondary care accessed through either patient self- referral or through physicians referral. 3.TERTIARY CARE Tertiary care is specialized consultative health care usually for inpatients and on referral from a primary or secondary health professional in a facility that has advanced medical investigation and treatmentsuch as tertiary referal hospital.eg ar ofe cancer management,cardiac surgery,plastic surgery burns.etc.

4 .QUATERNARY CARE Quaternary care is some times used as an extension of tertiary care in reference to advanced levels of medicine whic of linare highly specialised and not widely accessed.Experimental medicines and some types of uncommon Diagnostic or  surgical procedures are considered quaternary care.

  5.HOME AND COMMUNITY CARE Home and community care includes food servaillence, condom distribution, Needle exchange programms for the prevention of transmissible diseases.Community rehabilitation services can assist with mobility and independence after losss of limbs or function.
