Answer. When the girls of teenage, that is the age of 13- 19, get pregnant, they face many issues or problems with themselves and their children. Some teen girls get support of their families or communities to get over with the traumatic conditions and some do not get this opportunity and are left to suffer with the newborns. The pregnant teens face many problems like:-

. Issues with health of mother:-

Because of the unacceptable conditions, the teens don't get good diet during pregnancy. It results in poor strength and weakness in their bodies. Due to this, they become more prone to anaemic problems. Some parents don't take their pregnant teens to doctors or hospitals due to which they suffer a lot before and after delivering the baby. Gestational hypertension is also observed in many cases. Many girls develop high blood pressure which affect both the lives of mother and child. It is very crucial to take pregnant teens to doctors for proper heath checkups.

. Issues with health of babies:-

Due to absence of pre and post natal care of both mother and baby, along with the lifestyles of the young mothers including drinking alcohol and smoking, affects the development of fetus. The premature birth is very common along with many other birth defects are possible in such cases. The newborns can develop breathing problems or asthma, weak immune system, feeding difficulties, mental retardation, intestinal issues, late development symptoms, problems with vision or hearing, etc. Many babies die due to irresponsible behaviour of the teens and their families.

. Issues in socioeconomic aspects :-

The teens who give birth to young ones drop their schools or colleges. Very little number of teen parents get the degrees. Their living standards thus, decline poorly. They don't get enough money to feed themselves and their children. Many teens get the habita of alcohol and drug abuse, their educational level is lower, and it results in the reduction of future potential income. Teenage mothers likely to live under poverty and get under risks of domestic violence. Children of teens are aslo affected throughout. They don't get a developed intellect or academic support from anyone. They likely to drop their schools early. They are also not accepted by the society and face many social as well as economic inequality or injustice. Majority of these children don't get a good fortune.

To fight with these major 3 issues, the teachings to the teenagers and the obstetric helps should be provided to the pregnant teens for the better future of themselves and their children.
