Veridical recall-verdical means ''truth'.The degree to which
something as a knowledge stucture,experience ,perception,or
interpretation accurately represents reality and serve as internal
representations. For e,g.mental images of the enviornments to which
the symbol system is seeking to adapt.
Veridical recognition-It is vivid but illusory memories can be
induced by asking people whether they recognize or recall words
that were not previously presented, but are semantically related to
other previously presented words. For e.g.color-perception color
blind.
False recall-It is an altered state of conscious and refers to
the creation of inaccurate or false memories through the suggestion
of others. For e.g.Hypnosis also has been found to increase the
confidence people have in their memories regardless of whether
those memories are real or false .
False recognition-It is the error of recognition in which
people think that they recognize some stimulus that is not actually
in memory. For e.g.Eyewitness testimony can be especially prone to
false recognition, although most people seem to think that "seeing
is believing"(classical study by elizabeth loftus).
