MQSA: Mammography quality standards act. This is an act enacted by US to make sure that there is quality and care in mammography. This makes sure all Mammography facilities reach a particular uniform quality standards.

FDA: It is a federal agency is the United States and is responsible for protecting the public through inspection and control of various aspects related to public health. They are responsible for certifing various drugs for public consumption, setting different food safety standards..etc. They set the standards for anything that is related to public health. Eg. FDA approval is required to sell a new drug in the US market.

JCAHO : Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations; It is a non profit organisation in US which accredits various Health institutions around the country. They make sure that the standard and quality of healthcare in the country is good.

Line pair resolution: This is a quality assurance technique. This test is conducted on medical devices which are used for imaging. In this technique we use two lines of different contrast to test the quality of the medical equipment.
