For every single patient there is a specific sef of needs and requirment. These needs and requirements are fulfilled by the nurses over a standard time period.
The finance department of a healthcare system often sets the salary, bonuses and new recruitments for nursing staff based on the nursing workload measurement. A nurse leader acts as a representative of the nursing staff in the hospital and interacts with tge finance department about the nursing workload measurement.
