Needle holder: USES; It helps to hold the needle during suturing.
Splinter forceps: USES: Splinter Forceps are multi-purpose thumb forceps typically used for grasping and removing small foreign objects with their fine, pointed tips. They may also be used for holding bandages, sutures, or other items.
Standard hemostatic forceps: USES: used to stop the bleeding from arteries by holding the artery.
Suture scissors: USES: used to cut the sutures.
Operating scissors: used for blunt dissection and are used to dissect and undermine soft and delicate tissues. They are also used in visceral and cardiac surgeries.
Thumb forceps: thumb forceps are spring forceps used by compression between your thumb and forefinger and are used for grasping, holding or manipulating body tissue. They are non-ratchet style. For example, you could use thumb forceps to hold or move tissue during surgery or to move dressings.
Scalpel: A scalpel is a bladed surgical instrument used to make cuts into the body. This is a very sharp instrument and comes in various sizes for different types of cuts and surgeries.
Bandage scissors: Bandage scissors, or bandage forceps, are scissors that often have an angled tip with a blunt tip on the bottom blade. This helps in cutting bandages without gouging the skin
Sponge forceps: Used to hold sponges.Gynecology is amongst the most common field in which sponge holding forceps are made use of. These forceps are used for the process of sterilization for example when an intrauterine device may be being inserted.. At times, sponge holding forceps can also be used as a clamp to stop excessive bleeding
Tissue forceps:Tissue forceps are used in surgical procedures for grasping tissue. Often, the tips have "teeth" to securely hold a tissue. Typically tissue forceps are designed to minimize damage to biological tissue.
Mosquito hemostatic forceps: Mosquito Forceps are hemostatic forceps designed for controlling bleeding and handling blood vessels during surgery.
