An American sports issue:

a) Mike Tyson's  Bite fight:

An American heavy weight boxer Mike Tyson had breached the rule  of the match , During a Professional boxing match between Evander Holyfield and Tyson at MGM Garden arena at Las Vegas on 1997. Tyson bit off Holyfield's tongue  twice and on the third round he bit and spat off a piece of his opponent ear to the arena. As a result he got disqualified from the match and banned from the sports for time period.  

b ) Legal issues in the case:

The legal issue is in MikeTyson's 'Bite fight ' case is intentional harm to the opponent. He breached the rules and regulations of Match as well as the state and Federal law of intentional harm or physical assault . They made one of the most bizzare and notorious fight in the boxing history. The match referee Mills Lane conformed that the bites were intentional and He disqualified Mike Tyson from the match for breaching the rules and regulations of Professional boxing match.

c) Court system : Nevada State Athletic Commission : cancelled Tyson's Licence  

District Attorney called him for a hearing of the incident and the Law and order of the state charged him for punching a police man after the match .

d) Decision : His license got cancelled and he got Permanent suspension from boxing from the Sports Authority.

He was fined $ 3, 000,000 and a period of community service .

Tyson's licence reinstated after a year, as he filed an appeal in the court.
