Discuss how re-entrant arrhythmias are initiated and explain what is happening in the first and second beats in the arrhythmia.

Solutions

Expert Solution

Re-entry ventricular arrhythmia is mainy due to electric signal because they are not completing the normal circuit ,rather an alternative circuit looping back upon itself .Therfore ,their is a chance of rapid abnormal cardiac rhythum.

Reentry is a results of failled electrophysiological signal (failed to create a normal continuance) and reexciting the heat usually after the refractory period with heat beat of over 250 beats per minute (typical range is usually 180 -200 beats per minute ).For some individuals hypertension can occur due to prolonged episodes at rapid abnormal ventricular rate

patient with reentrant arrhythmias commonly present with symptoms such as chest pain or palpitations ,nervousness, anxiety, lightheadedness, neck pounding and syncope

WHAT HAPPENS IN REENTRY

THE study about arrhythmogenesis comprises disorders of impulse initiation and disorders of impulse transmission . The main impulse initiation disturbances are  automaticity(spontaneous depolarization of tissue)  and triggered activity with early and late depolarizations

when eletrical impulses that coordinate heart functions donot work properly ,heart will beat too fast ,too slow or irregularly .Heart arrhythmias may feel like a fluttering or racing heart ,pounding in chest  .Some type of arrhythmias like atrial fibrillation and ventricular fibrillation can lead to cardiac arrest
