Let's do some quantitative data research on Apple. I sometimes hear that they aren't doing as well as they have done in the past and they might be slowing down. Let's look at their last 3 years worth of financial data and tell us if they are doing better, the same or worse and how you determined this (show computations and or numbers). If someone has already done Apple, you can always select a different company.

The key here is to think about this as "interpreting research findings - quantitative data".

Analyzing Apple SWOT:

Apple Strengths:

Apple has launched many new items for its consumers, such as IPhone, IPad, IPod, MacBook and even a 'IWatch' Apple watch, and there are a range of new items for consumers to buy. They have come up with everything that a person may want and want.

One of the world's most respected brands is Apple. Their overall worth was $228.46 billion in 2016, while now the brand valuation is $234.67 billion in 2017. This indicates that their brand equity over one year has risen by 6.21 points. Whenever Apple develops its products, it concentrates on its clients.

They still appeal to their clients by receiving input from them and how they will like their new goods. This is why Apple has been successful as they still think about their customers and care for their satisfaction at all times. People tend to be content with goods that Apple undoubtedly does, so a lot of customers order from them.

Apple has also marketed their corporation and promoted it well. Apple is one of the world's most well known brands, which indicates that they have won the interest of everybody and marketed their products very well. They wouldn't be as profitable and famous as they are now if Apple didn't market themselves properly

AppleWeakness:

One of the drawbacks of Apple is that their prices for their phones are far more costly than their rival Samsung. The new iPhone 8 64 GB from Apple is £699.00 and the iPhone 8 Plus 64 GB is £799.00. Whereas the new Samsung handset, the Samsung S8 64 GB, is £669.00 and the Samsung S8 + 64 GB is £779.00. This indicates that the price range of the Samsung phone is cheaper and much more affordable than Apple,For Apple, this is a vulnerability because not everyone wants to invest a lot of money, which makes them step back when it comes to buying an iPhone.

Apple opprtunities:

The company now aims to grow even further by introducing its own car range, as Apple has been very popular and profitable over the years. They think they are almost ready to start something totally new that will bring new clients into their company. This would encourage individuals who are interested in vehicles and who are trying to purchase a new vehicle as well. Apple is now hooked on the 'New Vehicle' that is set to be unveiled in 2020. Only how good Apple does by selling tablets, iPads,IPod and Apple's MacBook also think that by launching their own car line, they will do well or are planning to do well.

Threats:

Threats from AppleDell, Sony and Lenovo are struggling with Apple's MacBook notebook. This is because they are both very profitable and popular laptop businesses that are used by many different customers and bought by them. Through releasing various MacBooks, Apple is doing its hardest to remain ahead of the game and get more buyers, since it is a successful Apple laptop, but Dell, Sony and Lenovo are also doing so. As Apple does for their MacBook's, they all get out new versions of their laptops as well. This is a challenge to Apple because often other brands such as Dell, Sony and Lenovo end up being at the same level as Apple as they aim to be ahead of the curve, which makes it impossible for Apple to contend with them and be ahead of them

This also refers to their iPhones, as the only Apple phones are iPhones, whereas Samsung, HTC, and Sony are Android phones. By coming up with new apps, Apple does its hardest to remain original to beat Android, but when Android realises that Apple has come out with a new one, they still end up making a similar one and attempt to make better one than Apple. Once again, this is another challenge to Apple as they want Android to compete.
