Expert Solution

As it is written about the connective tissue in both the questions so i am providing the connective tissue data.

connective tissues are the tissues that mainly have function of connection they connects and supports the tissue in the body

The 4 types of connective tissue are :-

  • Connective proper
  • Cartilage
  • Bone
  • Blood

There are two types of connective tissues mainly and they are connective tissue proper and specialized connective tissues.

connective tissue proper divided into two;

1) loose connective tissues

2) dense connective tissues

and specialized contains reticular , blood forming , bone formimg , adipose etc.

heres a description functions and locations of connective tissue proper

1) areolar connective tissue ; these are the one of the 6 forms of connective tissue which are in airy appearance and named it as areolar tissues.

they are helpful in holding organ at one place and attaches the epithelial tissue to another and also provides water and salt to tissues.

they are found in blood vessels , nerve bundles, muscles and organs

2) adipose is the loose connective tissue type that are located in the visceral organs buttocks shoulder breast and in bone marrow of human body and they carry adipocytes.

they are important in providing cushion to internal organs and maintains the insulation and provides energy storage in form of fat;

3) reticular connective tissues are type of connective tissues that contains the reticular fibers made up of type 3 collagen made of reticular fibers'

they are located in the kidney spleen lymph nodes and bone marrow and are they are helpful in providing the structural support to the lyphoid organs.

DENSE CONNECTIVE TISSUE

1) Dense regular connective tissue

they are the type of connective tissue which are mainly made up of fibers in which type 1 collagen is present.

dense regular are made up from type 1 collagen fibers and then do provide strength and structure to heavy structure that need tensile strength binds bones together and msucle to bone

found in ligaments and tendons.

2) Dense irregular connective tissue they are arranged randomly fibers and fibroblasts. and they are tough types provides the protection to many organs

located in skin dermis and around some organs like liver spleen etc.

Elastic tissues as clear from names is the modified form of dense connective tissue that have elastic finers in addition to the collagen fiber which are helpful in provding elastic movements to tissues.

they mainly functions as a tissue to come in its normal state after streching

found in the skin lungs areteries veins etc

These were the comparison and differences of the connective tissue proper.

2 . Cartilages.

They are flexible type of connective tissue and are present in various part of the body like in the joints between the bones , ribs cage , ears , nose elbow knee etc.

They are having specialized cells called chondroblast and they do not carry the blood vessels .

They are also of three main types :

  1. Elastic cartilage
  2. Hyaline cartilage
  3. Fibrocartilage

Elastic cartilage - these are the type which are somehow similar to the hyaline cartilage but they are more elastic in nature and they use to provide the flexibility and also maintains the structure. Eg are they are in ears and epiglottis.

Hyaline cartilage - these are the most abundant one and are also very strong cartilage and do also provide pads for protection from the shock.

They look like transparent when seen in the microscope and are present in nose trachea larynx etc.

Fibrocartilage - these are kind of mixture of the hyaline and dense regular connective tissue because they are present in the area where there is need to withstand a high pressure. They are usually present near the intervertebral disc of bony vertebrae.

3. Bones

Bones are also called as the osseous tissue are types of the connective tissue which have the large amount of organic and inorganic matrix in which organic matrix is like that of other connective tissue which have some collagen and elastin that use to provide the flexibility and strength to the bone tissue and while other is inorganic which contains the nutrients that gives the hardness to the bone.

While they have three types of cells they are osteoblast , osteoclast and osteocytes.

Bones are of two types they are compact and spongy.

Compact bones are called as the shaft part of the long bones also called as diaphysis while the spongy bones is the lower end of the long bones called as epiphysis.

4. Blood

Blood is the special type of the connective tissue which is present in the body as a body fluid. It is the atypical type because it doesn't bind to any part in the body.

It carry the various cells and plasma which circulate it the body carrying the oxygen and nutrient.

These are the 4 types of the connective tissje with there difference and similarities.
