a) Use-cases of a student in CU-online system :

CU-online system is a the online platform where students can learn the courses to obtain a graduation degree.

In this CU-online system, student usecases are following as:

  • Login : Student can login to the system to see a list of courses
  • Enroll for a course : They can enroll or register for a course
  • Access attendance record : They can access their attendance record
  • Access assignments : They can access the assignments given by the instructor.
  • Submit assignments : They can submit the assignments to the instructor
  • Access exam/quiz details and marks : They can access the exams details and marks of the course enrolled by them.
  • Pay the fee : They make the payment for the courses taken up by them.

b) Formal methods model :

Formal methods model is a model that is used in developing projects of software and hardware. It is form of using mathematical proof to computational systems. These formal methods model uses mathematical techniques or calculations to develop the complex systems. It is used in projects which are required mathematical calculations are following as :

  • Network Projects : This formal method model is used in implementing networks that requires the mathematical proofs.
  • Security applications : This formal methods model is used in developing security features of an application
  • Operating system projects : This formal methods model is used in developing operating systems kernels.
  • Developing processors : This formal methods model is used in developing hardware like processors.
  • Automated systems : Automated systems are developed by using formal methods model to make the system automated which do operations automatically.

c)Situation not suitable for Agile development :

  • The projects which are planned with fixed requirements are not suitable for Agile development process.
  • The Agile development is a software development model which takes frequent changes in the project development.
  • The changes or modifications are need to be done because in every step of agile process is verified iteratively. So if one module is changed then other modules connected with that module is also to be changed.
  • Do in agile development process, changes are occured in requirements of the project. There is a chance of adding new requirements to the Project.
  • In agile development process, we cannot predict the requirements of the project.
  • So the Agile development process is not suitable for those projects which are specified with only fixed requirements.
