Bariatric surgery is the surgical reduction of gastric capacity that may be performed on a client with morbid obesity to produce long term weight loss and it performed by laparoscoppy:the decision is based on the clients weight ,body build,history of abdominal surgery and curent medical disorders.We nee educate the clients that its helps them to modify his or her lifestyle and lose weight along.Inform the client that surgery can prevent diabetes mellitus,hypertension,sleep apnoea and so on .Educate the client about after surgery lke care is similar to that for the client undergoing abdominal surgery and clear liquids are introduce slowly once bowel sounds have returned ,clear fluids followed by purified foods.The client need to avoid alcoholic and high protein food.Eat slowly and chew well .

The complication occur after the bariatric surgery is the obese clients are at increase postoperative risk for pulmonary and thromboembolic complications like pneumonia,respiratory failure,internal bleeding and so on

Dietry ,lifestyle and psychological education topics are very essential to strengthen the client after surgery.Dietry education helps them to avoid dietry deficiencies because after surgery the stomach size got changes as a result the ability to absorb nutrients  is decreased ,so nutritional education is important.Psychological teaching helps them upgrade the mental health as wellas positive looks towards life.
