Ans:Telehealth encompasses all facts of remote health care including clinical services provided using telemedicine,as well as interactions with automated services, systems,or information resources. It is the integrated use of electronic information and telecommunications technology to support remote clinical health care, patient and professional health-realted education, public health, and health administration. The terms telehealth and telemedicine have become interwined in literature;in this study,we use telehealth as a broad term that encompasses clinical and nonclinical services in contrast to telemedicine, which consists of purely clinical services.

Given the success of telehealth in specialty health care services, the use of technologies to transmit health information and provide care across a distance is poised to enter mainstream health services delivery.

Role of nurses in telehealth one of the evolving roles of nurses as they take on new responsibilities of providing nursing services in home setting is the use of information technology (IT).Telehealth nursing focuses on patients' long -term wellness,

Almost every encounter a nurse has with a paitent is an opportunity for the nurse to assist the paitent to a higher level of wellness or comfort.whether or not this actually happens depends in large measure on the nurse's ability to think critically about the patient's paticular needs and how best to meet them .It also depends on the nurse,s ability to use a reliable cognitive approch that leads to sound clinical decisions about what the patient's priority nursing needed are. This chapter explore several important and interdependent aspects of thinking and decision making in nursing:critical thinking, the nursing process, and clinical judgment .Defining critical thinking is a complex task that requries and understanding of how people think through problems.

Our textbook specifically discusses our country's lack of preparedness for a pandemic in Chapter 13, page 274 under the "Epidemics, Ethics, and Public Health" heading. Much has been discussed by public health officials in articles and news stories in the past few months regarding the lack of official expert forums, epidemic protocols, and medical supplies prepared for such a disaster as we are now experiencing, albeit at a global level. As aptly predicted in the quote below, the US medical...

Chapter 14 in our textbook discusses how more and more companies are adopting policies of environmental sustainability. Many companies recognise that they must respond to consumer environmental concerns, and also do their part to address the global issue of climate change. Even though many companies are “greening” their practices, such as by using compostable packaging and energy-efficient lighting in their factories, other companies are “greenwashing” their products and marketing to appear more environmentally sustainable than they actually are. For example,...
