What do you think is the proper role of the state and federal government in fostering alternative energy sources?

The State and the Federal Govt. are the major drivers of a country. Making the use of alternative energy sources in place of conventional sources of energy can act as a major environment friendly step of the Govt. taken under its executive powers.

With the jncreasing concern of environmental damage and climate change, every country has to take immediate steps towards reducing the use of harmful and conventional sources of energy and switch towards more healthier and safe use of abundant natural and alternate energy sources like hydel power, solar energy, wind energy etc.

Being the head of the country the Central Govt. Can delegate orders to start the use of harmful and scarce use of energy fuels like coal, petroleum, and othe fossil fuels. These orders can be implemented by the State erficiently and effectively making every state environment friendly.

By utilizing both the levels of Govt. Athe federal nature of a country would be fulfilled.
