People moved to America due to various reasons like greater economic opportunities, religious beliefs, war, or they were pushed out of their land. People expected a more productive Land. The Americam Dream is another pull factor to bring people to America. people expect equal growth opportunities in America. America being the largest economy attracts people hoping to get good income. People might have heared about actuality of working conditions in America but still find it better here than their native countries, Dollar being the strongest currency also lures people to America. Most peole think i terms of exchange rate in their native country, as they earn and send maoney to their family in their domestic country where due to high exchange rates provides for better living. Employment acted as a magnet to immigratnts coming to America as they were ready for such jobs that Americans avoided like digging canals, building railroads, or working in steel mills and garment factories. Today, many immigrants find employment as maids, janitors, farm workers, and other low paid jobs. They were ready for lower wages due to high exchange rates of dollar in their native countries. They were ready for hardships in short run with a dream of securing their families in domestic countries. Even the skilled professionals find better opportunites here and provide cheaper skilled labor. Overall America is a dream that most people see ans yes it is true that most times they see only a good side and ignore the hardships.
