This question involves analyzing the advantage of an
organization that offers quality services that are related to Human
Resources. Specifically, think about two major areas of a
performance evaluation: (a) quality and (b) remaining positive
throughout. Use your critical-thinking skills to describe some
techniques that you could apply toward quality and positive service
while conducting a performance evaluation for an
employee.
With the objective of conducting a superlative performance evaluation of an employee, it is relevant to assess quality and positive service aspects of the related assessment. For this purpose, the viable techniques which could be used must be based on the technique of ' Management by Objectives'. As this technique, would facilitate evaluation based on goals, aspiration which is mutually amicable from both the organisation and employee perspective.
The qualitative aspects could be taken care by highlighting the aspects related to the work / profile expectations, the KRA's (Key result Areas). As this is ultimately going to add value for both the organisation and the employee growth and development. Besides the interpersonal relations and the overall contribution in the team spirit and contribution towards developing collaboration should also be taken into consideration during evaluation.
In context of remaining positive the inputs aligned to regular interactions, feedbacks with employees should be conducted to create that positive environment which will motivate the employee to perform better. Here the significant point is to make the employee feel integrated with the organisation and its mission, vision. Highlighting the aspect that if the employee wins and progresses so does the organisation simultaneously and vice versa will lead to greater positivity and will give an impetus to the employee to deliver best performance.
This would ultimately result in creating the requisite happiness and harmony in the work environment which will eventually pave the way through for a positive, congenial scenario. Where everything overall works in a contributing manner enabling, empowering people and processes thus leading the way to a happier employer, employee relation and an agile organisation.
