Negligence is the careless act that is unintentionally committed by the person that leads to harm to others. In the hospital or health setting, due to the negligence of the health care workers, and many patients lost their lives and many got the injury.
Impact of negligence on agency viability and quality of care includes
- Decrease of trusting the agency or the organization by the patients or consumers.
- Decrease the fame of the agency in the community or globally.
- A decrease in the patient or consumer leads to a decrease the financial support.
- The goal and objectives of the agency will not be fulfilled.
- negligence while care the patient leads to decrease the quality of care, difficulty to give the required needs to the patient, unable to fulfill the treatment instead leads to harm to the patient. Negligence also lead to decrease the maintaining the standard practices while caring the patient.
