Health care workers are ethically obligated to protect patient confidentiality.A health systemwith strong privacy mechanisas will promote public confidence in healthcare services;Patient have legal right to privacy.For patient ,lack of privacy could lead to personal embarrassment,public humiliation and discrimination.The patient right to privacy involves the confidentiality of informtion related to the patient and bodily privacy of the patient and also these are vital for establishing and maintaining an effective and respectful clinical relationship.Health care workers who protect their right in order to meet patient needs,protect their presstigehonor and privacy while providing services and improve the quality of services.
Malpractice and negligence are unintentional torts,Negligence;the measurement of negligence is "reasonableness",it involves exposure of person or property of another to unreasonable risk for injury by acts of commission or omission..example of malpractice is leaving sponges inside a client;causing burns;medication errors;failure to prevent falls;and carelessness in caring for a client property.
