Answer : In United States the law of employment discrimination is common in states. According to this law discrimination is prohibited. The constitution of U.S. also prohibits the discrimination by state government and by federal law against their public employees.
Discrimination is constrained directly in private sector but it is a subject to grow in federal and state government laws.
By federal law discrimination is prohibited in a number of areas which includes hiring, requirements, promotion policies, compensation, training, disciplinary action and job evaluations. State law is extended by protection to employers.
