The tobacco industry makes billions in profits every year from its deadly products. They should be the one who should take this initiative to help people who are suffering from tobacco related diseases. Advertising campaign and reserach plays an important role in the awarness of these dangerous effects of tobacco. Diagnosis regarding tobacco has as much to do with social and cultural circumstances as it does with science. The continued prevalence of smoking is obviously an ongoing public health problem, particularly among some groups of individuals including those with mental illness.

It is important to remain vigilant about the potential negative effects of the tobacco industry on tobacco control efforts. At the same time, we should be aware that psychiatric concepts regarding smoking cannot be relied upon to provide scientific objectivity on which to build policy. Research regarding effects of smoking has to be spread across the society and campaign needs to be developed for the same from the government. As tobacco companies are directly responsible for these diseases there are the one who should be contributing for the benefits of the people. People should be aware of the fact that excess of tobacco leads to health problems and a program needs to be implemented for the same.
