What are some ways to make the document more professional?
Some ways to make the document more professional are as follows:
1. Font size through out the documents must be defined for the content in the paragraph and of the headings and subheading.
2. Justified alignment gives the document more systematic and decent look.
3. Each heading and paragraph starting line must have same line gaps and must be atleast 2 lines gap.
4. If there are any picture that are been explained or added in the document for the reference, then it should be labelled with the figure number and the short description.
5. If the document have more than 8 pages, it is good to add the content page with specified page number beside each topic that is being discussed in the document.
6. If pictures have been added in the documents then, there should be a defined table after the content table of the document that refers to all the pictures in the document that includes the figure number, short descriptions and it's page number.
7. Also, it is good if we avoid using the short forms in the document, but if these short forms are being used there should be a dedicated page for the abbreviations just after the table of content and list of figure pages, defining each abbreviations.
8. The pages that excludes the content of the document such as title page, table of content, list of figures, abbreviations list. These pages must have different convention of numbering in the page number and should end as soon as the chapter of the document or the content of the document starts.
9. These conventions can be Roman number forms for the excluded document content and the natural number system for the rest of the document.
10. Also, if there is an acknowledgement page added in the document whenever needed, it gives the reader the complete background of the persons who have reviewed or worked for this document.
