The three most important aspects to working in a health care team are as follows:
1. Skilled and
experienced Core team: In any healthcare team the
most important aspect to deliver an effective and safe treatment is
to have a skilled core team. A team which has substantial skills
with significant experience can deliver treatment with more
efficiency and minimal errors and mismanagement. This team with
skills and experience can be trusted to deliver critical healthcare
delivery and safety considerations.
2. Clear Role and
Division of responsibilities: A good team in
healthcare delivery is the one who performs multiple tasks
simultaneously with clearly defined roles working in unison on
delivering effective treatment. Also, decision of responsibility
helps with overlapping tasks and obtaining quick treatment delivery
to healthcare scenarios. Once the roles and responsibility is
divided effectively we can have efficient healthcare team.
3. Effective
communication and focus on outcome: Communication
is the most critical aspect of any team work. In healthcare, a
miscommunication in treatment delivery can cost life of the
patient. Hence an effective communication can help in clear
direction to deliver intended therapy and mode of action and if
done correctly it can have direct positive impact on healthcare
outcomes and patient safety.
