THE incremental contribution would the World Trade Point Federation provide compared to UNCTAD for SMEs’ adoption of e-commerce technologies are as follows The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) promoted Trade Point program. The UNCTAD's technical cooperation directs its efforts to “capacity building” in four great scopes: globalization, development, international trade, and investment.

In this sense, supporting the Trade Point Program, UNCTAD is helping to assist small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the trade field through taking full advantage of global trading opportunities using modern IT's, which improve their capacity of to compete in global markets, gaining cooperation and strengthening the supply chain.

Internet technologies provide SMEs’ the possibility to come in competence with other firms, make easier to begin a business, imply decreasing costs for business transactions which limit small busines
