The UNCTAD's technical cooperation directs its efforts to “capacity building” in four great scopes: globalization, development, international trade, and investment.
In this sense, supporting the Trade Point Program, UNCTAD is helping to assist small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the trade field through taking full advantage of global trading opportunities using modern IT's, which improve their capacity of to compete in global markets, gaining cooperation and strengthening the supply chain.
