in order to support individuals in eating healthy during self-quarantine and isolation, which could positively reflect on physical and mental wellbeing, in your opinion
1. What are the guidelines for healthy eating food?
2. What are the factors contributing to poor control of food intake in humans?
To stay healthy it is important that we should include healthy diet in our life. We need to do several modifications to elevate the health status. The diet should consist of the nutrients that are daily required by our body. The Guidelines for the Healthy and Balanced Eating of Food are as Follows:
i) Eat Variety of Vegetables and Fruits about 2 or more Servings a Day
ii)Eat Whole-grain, High-fiber Containing Cereals about 3-6 Servings a Day.
iii) Drink Fat-free or low-fat Milk and low-fat Dairy Products.
iv) Consume Vegetable Oils instead of Solid Fats.
v) Reduce the Daily Intake of Salts and Sodium.
vi) Avoid Junk Foods that contain refined White Flour, Solid fats or Trans Fats and added Sugars.
vii) Consume less Sodas and other Sugar-added Drinks that are high in Calories and contain only few Nutrients.
viii) It is important to stay hydrated, so 8 glasses of water is necessary everyday.
