In the US, people die because they do not have private health insurance or their insurance does not cover the treatments they need. A 2009 Harvard study published in the American Journal of Public Health found more than 44,800 excess deaths annually in the United States due to Americans lacking health insurance, equivalent to one excess death every 12 minutes. More broadly, the total number of people in the United States, whether insured or uninsured, who die because of lack of medical care was estimated in a 1997 analysis to be nearly 100,000 per year.

The life expectancy of people is directly proportional to the availability and adequacy of health care. The most common cause of death is lack of getting adequate health care. In every parts of the world there are inequality in health care, this inequality leads to increase rate of death.

Inequalities in healthcare include:,

:poor health status of the people.

:unavailability of health care services like hospital facility ,skilled medical professionals etc. ..

:income of people and health insurance

The relationship between income and health insurance and health care availability is,

Always good health care is getting to financially sound person than poor person, the significant measure to help the people who have low income is the application of health insurance, however the health insurance plan not fully eliminate the problem but it reduces the problem.

The cost of the health care is increased day by day so the quality of health care services is influenced by income of the person .Health problems mostly affect the poor people than high income people.

'from the above paragraph the health insurance plan help the low income individuals to get quality health care services, good health care service increased life expectancy of an individual it leads to decreased death rate of patient. The other factors like health status of an individual and availability of health care facility is also affect the death of individuals, health insurance plan alone not reduces the death rate, but along with health insurance plan the health status of an individual and availability of good health care facility is reduce the death rate of patient '.
