Hi Answer:
Q. What is implied by the statement that “race as biology is fiction; racism as a social problem is real”? Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Answer: The fiction is the story having some imaginary characters which are performing some imaginary roles in the society. The stories found in the novels and storybooks are mostly fictions. In the statement the race is biology is fiction, racism, as a social problem is real and 100% correct, and I fully agree with this statement, because what be study in the biology that how different races are produced and what are the effects of interaction of one race with another race etc. etc. all are only either up to books or up to our studies. These scientific observations have no effect on the thinking of our real society or in another words we can say that we didn’t care about the biological races just like the fiction stories that’s why this statement is made that the race as biology is fiction because both topics (biological race and fictions) have no effect on our society and we take it casually. But on another side, the racism is the biggest problem in our society. Somewhere in our mind racism is there. We hate peoples of other races and discriminate them and sometimes we become so aggressive towards racism and took some dangerous steps. Due to racism even we forget the humanity.
