answer-d)a theory assessing the morality of an action in terms of duty or rightness in itself.
Deontological theory---it was proposed by kant. It means that assessing the morality of an action in terms of duty or rightness in itself.
He discussed that the morality of a situation comes from its reason and its consequence and does not arise from authority ,power , religion or cutoms in particular religious groups. He emphasized on the principles that a person can obey moral and ethical values to a certain extent till there is a universal belief of the true existence of such a moral ethical belief.People should be treated equally, not with the only understanding that it is a natural way to think in such a way, but it should be like an ethical belief in human mankind. It should be present in the inherent nature of the person to treat humans equal in every race.
The same beleif is true for doctors where the patient should have the inner strength, mental toughness to get treated by a doctor. He should be confident enough that he will get soon when he will be provided the essential drugs by the doctor. The patient should be confident that the doctor will attain success in the operation that he has conducted on this patient.
