1. Vaping refers to inhalation of substances via nostrils. Often these are very misterious and causing illness if the respiratory system.These are in severe form like breathing difficulty called as vaping illness.

The doctor's are referring to the sudden outbreak of this vaing illness after the mortality of 39 cases .It is estimated that more than 2000 teenagers are affected with this illness.As this can cause severe crisis if unnoticed it can lead to outbreak of the illness in a larger quantity.

2.The education that might be offered to a patient who want to quit smoking are

  • First provide psychological reassurance that it can be quitted with th determination .This can increase their hope,confidence and be a part of the treatment
  • Use of nicotine patch is the best way to quit smoking as this will decrease the craving for smoking
  • Use of chewgums can divert the mind from smoking desire

Though vape pen can be suggested as per physician order.It has to be used in caution because overtime the patient may be addictred to it and cannot stop it. So under supervision and proper follow up this can be used.

3.The education which has to be offered to a patient who wants to start vaping are

  • Use only as required and prescribed
  • Always try alternative methods like using chew gums ,divrrsional techniques are the best option prior to vaping

This statement is true because long term usage can lead to addiction,use of other tobacco related substance, marijuana,etc., Causing severe lung damage and death because most of the vaping device contain the nicotine or atleast some form of chemicas
