Chambers of heart = the heart is divided into mainly four chambers that are 2 atrium and 2 ventricle.

major blood vessels involved =

1.pulmonary artery - The deoxygenated blood from right ventricle flows through pulmonary artery to lungs.

2.Pulmonary vein - The oxygenated blood from lungs flows into heart by pulmonary vein.

3.Aorta - The oxygenated blood from heart flows through aorta to different parts of body.

Path of blood flow through heart =

Body inferior vena cava & superior vena cava right atrium right ventricle pulmonary valve    lungs pulmonary veins left atrium left ventricle Aorta Body.

1.The superior vena cava and inferior vena cava collects the deoxygentaed blood from different parts of body and pour it into the right atrium.

2.Blood from right atrium flows into right ventricle through Tricupsid valve.

3.when both of right atrium and right ventricle full, then contraction of right ventricle forces the blood pulmonary valve into lungs.

4.In lungs the oxygenation of blood takes place.

5.The oxygenated blood from lungs returns to the right atrium through pulmonary vein.

6.Blood from left atrium flows into left ventricle.

7.contraction of ventricle , opens the aortic valve, then blood flows through aortic valve into aorta.

8.blood through aorta is distributed to different parts of body.

Valves = The valves are present in heart, the main function of valve is to prevent backflow of blood.

there are mainly four valves are present in heart:

1.Mitral valve - is present in between left atrium and left ventricle

2.Tricupsid valve - is present in between right atrium and right ventricle.

3.Aortic valve - is present in between left ventricle and aorta.

4.Pulmonary valve - is present in between right ventricle and pulmonary artery.
