To understand the technological advancement in the field of mechanical engineering, We will be going through different fields as like production, design etc.

 

Coming to Production field: In production environment now we can see how fast going our present era i.e. presently in almost all sectors like automobile, aeronautical all have working with CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) where CNC (Computer Numerical Control) is the main machine involved in production sites in which lesser time with giving high production. Day by day advancement in this field, by looking forward 100 years; It will be fully automated machine work due to involvement of programmed structure by information technology and artificial intelligence. In twenty first century Mechanical production could be very effective and timely mannered.

 

Coming to Design field: In design environment, Now we are having 3D software by using which we can animate our job and all respective outcome whatever we want we are able to get instantly, so the design software are very important. Designing of any product with CAD (Computer Aided Design) software are easy but also the advancement in this field is growing day by day with the help of programmed structure by information technology and artificial intelligence. Designing software not only involve in modeling of product but also analysis done. In twenty first century Mechanical design system would be change by using different things like IOTs, Machine Learning, 3D technologies, computational fluid dynamics, etc.

 

Mechanical engineering profession would be diversify in various categories like nanotechnology, Metal printing technology, Industrial Internet of Things, Industrial automation.
