Explanation :- Sedative and hypnotic both are types of tranquilizer drugs and these drugs have a calming effect on our body. They block excitory mechanisms of our nervous system and have a depressing effect on the body. Generally they are used to treat conditions like anxiety.

Explanation :- Insulin is not diagnostic as diagnostic implies the usage of something to analyse or detect a disease or condition. Diagnostic is the step used in the detection of any disease.

Replacement methodology implies that some chemical is replaced by a synthetic drug but usually Insulin is not a replacement therapy. Instead it is used when body can not synthesize enough Insulin.
