There are positive emotions and negative emotions that influence our behavior in our day to day life that is Pleasurable experience are caused by the positive emotions whereas Unpleasant emotions are building up in an individual and react to an event or person and pleasurable experiences are not caused by the negative emotions.
Some Positive emotions are love, joy, happiness, contentment, amusement, serenity. On the other hand, some negative emotions are angry, depression, sad, fear, being alone
Three ways to influence positive emotions
In everyday life, people are encountering different situations and different person. Some methods helps the person to adopt to today changed situations.
There are the ways to improve the positive emotions in order to bring happiness in lives of client
1. The imagined self technique :
This method helps the people to imagine self and feel their joy and able to achieve the goal which the client want to achieve in their life and get a pleasure from that.
Steps of imagine technique
Ask the client to feel the experience in the future that is achievement of life and share the experience with all people
Imagine the experiences the achievement and struggling of present and feel the proud of achievement
Immerse in the imagine world and feel the positive emotion
Ask the client the about the experiences and methods to achieve them in the future
Benefit self positive imagine technique
· It help the individual to develop the regulate the behavior. It helps the individual to set himself according to the standards

· It helps to form the honest relationship with others
· It helps to achieve the goal

2. Positive affirmation is the statement and can be done by an individual himself and practice to say daily and this method push the individual to positivity. Affirmation in positive talking can help the individual redirect the minds to focus on the positive and bring the positivity in his life

Steps to follow the forgiveness exercise
Ask the client to write the names of all the persons who hurt the individual in a piece of paper and next to each person, explain the experiences that causes hurt and how it affected client
Ask to client to relax and take a deep breath for 2 minutes and then say the forgive and open the eyes and ask the client to write down forgive and free
