What type of organisms will be more prevalent in the hay infusion incebated in thelight than in the hay infusion incubated in the dark?

Solutions

Expert Solution

The prevalent organism in the hay infusion incubated in light includes the organism which depends on the light to survive for example plants and other photosynthetic organisms. Many photosynthetic bacteria kike blue green bacteria, heliobacteria are dominant in lghting condition.

The organism which are not dependent on light to survive will be prevalent in the hay infusion incubated in the dark. For example many bacteria which are not photosynthetic like E. coli, staphylococcus aureous etc. Yeast are also dominant in this condition because they do not need light to grow.

Twenty-five test plots of this new grass resulted in average production of 1.92 ton per acre on the first cutting with a standard deviation of 0.40 ton. Assume that the production of hay is a normally distributed random variable, which is a necessary assumption with this...
