What is the purpose of the stress test?
stress test is a physical exercise test done to check the heart functioning.
exercise increase the consumption of oxygen that makes human heart pump harder and faster, an exercise stress test can reveal problems with blood flow within the heart.
Procedure:-
-person is attached with equipments to assess heart functions.
-person is asked to walk slowly in place on a treadmill. Then the speed is increased for a faster pace and the treadmill is tilted to increase the resistance.
-Person is asked to breathe in tube
- after that heart function is checked.

A normal test result means no blood flow problems were found. If test result not normal, it can mean there is reduced blood flow to heart.
