What emergency-preparedness elements would you put in place in your organization in preparation for and in response to a potential influenza pandemic (e.g. global disease outbreak)? How would you operate your business if 30% or more of your employees are unable to work and essential services are disrupted, leading to minimal outside help being available from the government and medical agencies?

The world is like a global village and in such type of pademic , it is desired by the society that each and every section of society should perform their duties in such a way to minimise the effect of such diseases .

An organisation is a very important part of society and having its resources from society so it is very essential to manage in such a way as to support them in such adverse situations .

In my view following steps would be supportive  :

1 ) For the employees who are not able to work at workplace of the organisation , arrangements should be made for remote work procedure to maintain the safety of employees without hampering the output.

2 ) To check its spread necessary protection masures would be adopted at work place.

3 ) Those who can stay at workplace , proper steps to be taken so that they can work in extra shifts so that they can earn more and fill the requirement of those who can not work .

4 ) A disaster management team should be formed to support employees and society to gain their support to face the pandemic.

5 ) Some amount should be allocated as " Disater Management Fund " to meet the monetary needs .

6 ) Some precautionery arrangements like medicines and essentials should be kept in stock to face these unwanted situations .

Except these physical measures the Management should maintain high morale and motivate their employees.
