1. FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE EVERYTHING

When we consider the implication of first impressions, it relates to the aspect of perception and how individuals perceive us and our actions forms the lifelong understanding and how it affects our future interaction with them at the cost of being able to establish a meaningful relationship dynamic with them which is further based on mutual consideration, sincerity and commitment. Trust is also a significant factor which affects how individuals react to and support each other’s reflection. It creates an excellent overall understanding of the concept of empathetic realization and shows the maturation, especially in terms of an individual’s emotional intelligence quotient.
Even though first impressions are not the “end all” aspect of understanding for the formation of a meaningful relationship, it creates the foundation based on mutual consideration and knowledge and therefore, can help the exchange of meaningful dialogue throughout the interaction process.

2. SPECIAL CONSIDERATION SHOULD BE PAID TO

When we need to create an excellent first impression, the three things which we should consider first and foremost is our understanding for the medium of communication being used, be it the language or the culture, our understanding of verbal and nonverbal cues and our presentation. Our attitude should reflect confidence while not being overbearing, commitment while not being selfish, our personal beliefs while not being distrustful of the others.

Being that most first impressions are based on the understanding of the other individual, we can only be prepared to a certain extent, such that how we present ourselves, our clothes, our communication process, language, cultural understanding, and our etiquette is everything we need to consider for a meaningful first impression and dialogue.
