The full name of GEICO is the Government Employees Insurance Company. It is an American auto insurance company which has headquarters in Maryland. It is the second largest auto insurance company in the United States.
The current organizational structure for GEICO is impressive and does not require to be changed. GEICO is a vry big company with many divisions and sections throughout. The formation of the executive staff permits for certain executives to govern divisions with special purposes. Due to the extremely huge nature of the company, there is no requirement for sidelong communication on the corporate stage. Divisions are in the with a single executive section to solve issues.
GEICO also looks into the internal Analyst to analysis process and customer service producers. So the customer is receiving outstanding customer service from the company as they open a claim.
As for me, GEICO’s organizational structure answer to the current business structure of the company. In as much as the business is attentive on providing different kinds of insurance protection for all its customers.
GEICO follows the functional structure for the organisation. It has a top down flowchart with a high ranking executive at the top position with multiple middle managers.
