What kind of desires does Google create, i.e. what isit that consumers "learn to want" in using Google? Do consumers get what they want, i.e. are these healthy or unhealthy desires?
1. Google is a search engine that acts as the one stop shop for anyone who search for anything. Google does not only give the customer what they want but also creates new wants as the customers surf through the pages google brings in, probably millions of them.
2. When a customer types few key words, they have something in mind about the product or services that they want but google brings in lot of similar products that matches the customers and tempt them to choose alternate products, may for less money or more money. It keeps tempting the customer until they see something worthy of the price they are paying. In this way google trains the customers to learn to want and this want at one point becomes graving by creating new needs infront of their eyes.
3. Although this new online markeing is a boon for the customer, it is also a bane in disguise. It keeps creating more space in the minds of the customers for new product or service. Many people are addicted to online shopping and this unhealthy desire is definitely not good for the customers. They get more than what they wanted and end up in financial crisis most of the time.
