Industrial Revolution has agreat impact on the evelopment and growth of countries in the world. It was first started in Britain in the 18th century. It has somany impacts in this modern world also. They are the feminist movements, urbanization, growth of socialist movements, labour movements etc.. The main cause of industrial revolution is the introduction of laissez faire policy which means less participation of government in economic decision making. Private parties got some more opportunities to make decisions.

Industrial revolution made an impact on labours. It resulted to the emergence and growth of the labour unions. A labour union is a group of people which are doing same type of job comes together for fighting to get good working condtion. Labour unions will help to solve the problems faced by the labours. It will protect the rights of the labours. In the modern world also people use labour unions for fighting to get good salary, basic education and healthcare facilities, safe working condition etc..  

Industrial revolution resulted to feminist movements. It has a great impact on the life of women. At the time of revolution women got the opportunity to work in textiles. But they got only less wage than men. They started to fight for equality in wages, safety and protection in workplace etc. In the modern world also women makes movements for safeguarding their rights in the workplace, for equal pay, maternity right, right to vote etc.. Another impact of industrial revolution was the emergence of urbanization. Many people started to move to urban areas in search of job. Urban areas began to grow due to the migration of famers and their families for getting good job in factories. It resulted to the increase in population in urban areas. This makes impact on the living condition of people living in cities and towns. This impact is still there in the modern world. Population is very high in urban areas. The standard of living of the people also high because they will get good facilities like job,education, medical facilities etc..

Another impact of industrial revolution is that it resulted to the inventions and innovations of many new things. For example, many changes happened in the textile industries due to the innovations made in this field.It resulted to the increased production of products very fastly. Another inventions made due to the revolution is the introduction of telephone, vehicles, automobiles etc. So we can say that the impact of industrial revolution is very great in the modern world. it helped to make many laws like child labour law, minimum wage law etc. It helped people to live comfortably with better standard of living. Many people got many rights like right to vote, equality, opportunities for better education, job etc. Life of the people become some more easier through the changes that happened in the world. Industrial revolution helps to solve many problems like poverty, unemployment etc. The economy of many countries began to develop and grow.
